Festival Parking

The Williamston Spring Water Committee and the Williamston Police Dept. recommend the following locations when looking for parking at this year’s festival . . .

The soccer fields where the old depot is located, just off Main Street, will not be available for parking this year.

Limited parking will be available in front of and behind the soccer fields with access from Mauldin St. Festival goers parking in this area can easily walk under the Main Street bridge to the craft and food area.

The Ball Fields located behind the Williamston Municipal Center will be the primary parking lot and will be filled first, allowing visitors a quick and easy walk to all of the festival activities.

Handicapped parking will be available beside the Historic Depot and in front of the Municipal Center.

Additional parking will be available at the Armory on Gossett St.

Display parking - 

Crafters will have designated parking at the corner of Gossett St. and Main and the National Guard Armory. Displayers will park in a designated lot located at the rear gate of the park.

Main St. in front of the Park will be blocked from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a detour on Minor, Cherokee Rd., Williams St. and Academy Streets.

On Friday, Aug. 26, set up for craft, food and display vendors will be held prior to the festival start at 6 p.m. Vehicles leaving the park must be out by 5:45 p.m. Gates will be closed from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On Sat., Aug. 27, no vehicles will be allowed in the park after 9:30 a.m. and any vehicle that is leaving the park must be out by 9:45 am officials said. The park gates will be closed at 10 a.m. and the park will remain closed to traffic until the festival ends at 8 p.m.

Visitors are reminded not to park on private property or block entrances to homes or businesses in the area.

Crafters and food vendors may set up on Thursday evening or during the day on Friday, festival officials said. On Saturday, craft vendors may begin unloading at 6 a.m. on Gossett St. Signs will direct crafters to  Gossett St. for unloading and parking on festival day. Vendors are reminded to remove vehicles from the park area by 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
